Our Philosophy
BellSoave Architects designs are focused on crafted architectural details, warm and engaging interiors and spaces grounded in the owners’ personal lifestyle. Not bound to trends, our designs, traditional, modern or contempary, are expressed in the specific tastes of the client. We work with clients to understand their unique needs and dreams to provide elegant homes, always with an environmentally and cost conscience approach. Projects are selected based on shared visions and good chemistry with the owners. Our experience in adaptive reuse and historic renovations brings insight to unlock an existing building’s unique potential for it's next use. Our goal is to develop a plan and vision that coincides with the owner's with guidance through the process of budgets, schedules and completion of the project.
Our Services
BellSoave Architects is pleased to provide design services that can range from conceptual design ideas to full scope permit and construction documents. Our designs include new construction, additions and major renovations. We provide existing conditions documentation for renovations, early design ideas, finishes and lighting selection, and detailed construction documents. We advocate in the owner’s best interest to meet with pre-selected contractors who also have a mutual vision and clear understanding of the project or provide bid drawings depending on client requests. We process ideas through hand sketches or a variety of 3D software programs to bring clear visuals to the client in order to understand how the spaces will look and feel. Visioning services to help you plan a renovation or new home can be provided and credited toward final contract.

We used the services of Laurie Soave, of Bell-Soave Architects, for extensive renovations to our Southern Maine oceanfront property.
